Shot in in Arlington, Alexandria, and McLean, Virginia, with a cast and crew of over 40 people, the project is 1108's largest production to date. On September 9, 2022 the film premiered at the New York Shorts International Film Festival and has gone on to receive numerous accolades including "Best Director" at the Berlin Short Film Festival, "Best Actress" at the Cooper Awards, "Best Poster" at the Lily Film Awards and "Best Narrative Short" at the West Virginia Short Film Festival.

“Missing You”
1108's first short sets its narrative inside the suburbs of Northern Virginia in early summer 2020. As civil engagement and unrest grow in nearby DC a somber middle-aged man struggles to get over a woman he was never that close with. On September 4, 2022 the film premiered at The Great Plains Film Festival and went on to be nominated for the Grand Jury Prize at the Ricmond International Film Festival.
