The Fredericksburg
Film Festival
The Fredericksburg Film Festival is an annual celebration of storytelling that blends film, music, and visual art to spotlight diverse voices and foster creative community.
On May 2-5, 2024, 1108 produced the first annual 'Fredericksburg Film Festival', opening our doors to a diverse mix of local and international filmmakers and film enthusiasts - all hosted in the heart of downtown Fredericksburg. On May 10, 2024, 1108 was awarded an honorary resolution by the Virginia House of Delegates for its work on the festival.
On Easter weekend 2025, we returned with the second annual Fredericksburg Film Festival—running April 16–20 in downtown FXBG—showcasing over 40 independent films at the heart of our city. Under the theme “It’s Not the Camera, It’s the Eye,” FFF 2025 celebrated filmmakers whose vision shapes powerful storytelling, regardless of budget, while enriching the experience with panels, Q&As, music, and visual art collaborations
